Although technically speaking we can build .dcp profiles for most other colorspaces (with some limitations) we chose Cinelog-C as a baseline. This is for many reasons but mainly because the gamut is easy to transform and grade. It is also the foundation for Cinelog Looks meaning any Cinelog Look can be applied to an image in Cinelog-C colorspace regardless of the source camera.
If you need your images in other colorspaces there are extensive options provided in the Cinelog OpenColorIO configuration, however, the plugin’s are limited to use in After Effects and Photoshop.
Lightroom users have the option of using an ICC profile or lut with the chosen transform exported from the OCIO plugin (After Effects or Photoshop is still required). These are somewhat limited, low precision options and not recommended. Scene-referred linear workflows such as ACES are not possible due to limitations in Lightroom.
We can provide custom log .dcp profiles for individual cameras as part of our consultancy service. Please contact us with your specific requirements for a quote.
